RUDE – POWAI

Rude Lounge Powai has one of the best views you could dine with in Mumbai. It has an open view of the Powai skyline which is mesmerizing. The lounge is situated on the 8th floor of Peninsula Supreme Business Park. The ambience is eye catchy, especially the seating near the open view. The people who would love to party and dance could always opt for a table near the dance floor.

The weekends are usually packed and you won’t find a table but waiting is totally entertaining at RUDE due to the upbeat DJ which never lets you down. As the clock ticks, the beats and the volume of the music increases. You would never regret the wait. It’s worth it. Parking is not an issue.

FOOD  – STARTERS

VEG

CRISPY CHILLY GARLIC POTATO

It looks like a mix of french fries and crispy veg. The taste is crisp and crunchy with a tint of lemon and slight sweetness which hits the end of the tongue. Its one of their most appealing dishes to try out. Don’t let it get soggy by making it sit too long as the taste will diminish.

SPICY BBQ PANNER PIZZA

I ordered a small-sized pizza which has a very crisp and thin crust infused with a lot of layered cheese and adequate panner toppings.

NON – VEG

BHATTI DA MURGH

I miss this dish already. When the dish arrived it was on fire, in literal terms the dish was smoking hot as it is a tandoori dish. The Indian spices marinated the chicken in perfection. The plating of the dish is magnificent, the dome-shaped plating made the dish look king like in the copper cast. The chicken is piled on two sticks with 4 – 5 pieces of chicken on each stick which is enough for 2 – 3 people. At the bottom, there were pieces of coal which would please the customer as they could grill it to their preference and taste. The chicken is warm, soft and tender. It’s very easy to cut through.

I would highly recommend you to try this dish. I loved it and would go back now to eat it if I could. It looks so fascinating as well as tastes great!

Reminder – The tandoori starts after 7 PM

Last on the plate for starters was the PRAWNS MARTINI, this dish was suggested by one of the main staff members. The prawns are of medium size, tender and they don’t even smell at all. Be sure to tell the staff about how spicy would you like the dish to be. As my dish was super spicy but tasted amazing! Even though I wanted to eat more I couldn’t due to the chilly.

DESSERT

SIZZLING BROWNIE

It’s a challenge if you could finish the dessert without spoiling your dress or the table. Well, I lost in both. Be careful to not burn your tongue as it’s a sizzling dish.

MOCKTAILS

These are the two most ordered or I must say favoured mocktails for the customers.

I tried the MANGO TANGO and it didn’t suit my taste at all. It was too sweet and didn’t even go well with the dishes but helped a lot when my tongue was caught on fire due to the prawns.

The PEPPERY CRUSH is of cola flavour aka Kala khatta with a lot of crushed ice and pepper on the glass rim. It boosts up the taste of the dishes.

SERVICE

The staff is well-coordinated, they are always on their toes. The place is usually packed and it’s a big thing to manage the crowd but they are awesome at their job. The bartenders have an erotic charisma which captivates all the attention and to top it up is the beautiful Powai view.
